Our most recent curricula consist of three separate sets of lesson plans.
Learn more about each distinct curriculum below and discover how you can bring The Good Project to your classroom!
The Good Project Fundamentals (15-minute lessons)
For those who have limited time available to include The Good Project in their course or classroom, this set of 16 15-minute “mini-lessons” provide an introduction to the key concepts of good work.
The Good Project Foundations (One-Year Lesson Plans)
This one-year version of The Good Project Lesson Plans covers all major concepts related to good work. Implemented in our research project during the 2022-2024 school years, there are 29 45-minute long lessons, 16 of which are “starred” with an asterisk and labeled as “Key Lessons.” If you are not able to fit all 29 lessons into your course, these 16 tried and true lessons will ensure that essential concepts and activities are covered.
The Good Project Developmental Series (Four-Year Lesson Plans)
In our research, we heard from teachers and students alike asking for multiple years of lesson plans which would allow students to grow and deepen their understanding of good work while reinforcing the major concepts over time. In response, we created The Good Project Developmental Series which moves students through four stages, each building upon the other: 1) good person, 2) good worker, 3) good citizen, and 4) a capstone that asks students to synthesize their learning over the previous three years of study.
The first year of this program covers all core concepts of The Good Project, ensuring that even if a student can only participate in a single year, they still have a solid foundation in the subject matter.
